Columbus, OH—Longtime education professional Dr. John Stanford will serve as the next State Director of Children’s Defense Fund-Ohio. The decision to name Stanford as head of Children’s Defense Fund’s Columbus-based office follows a nationwide search.

COLUMBUS, OH — A new Parent Advisory Board created in partnership by two Ohio nonprofits aims to meaningfully engage parents as experts in policy advocacy to drive positive change in a wide-range of issues facing children and families across the state.

COLUMBUS — On Friday, July 21st, Ohio students participating in the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools® program will gather at the Ohio Statehouse to call on state leaders to protect children from gun violence as part of a National Day of Social Action.
